Beauty and health enthusiasts know that a product usually pops up almost every year purporting to be the best in the industry in terms of creating amazing results for the health and/or skin. Most recently, Moroccan oil is trending as the must-have product.
Moroccan argan oil is made from the argan tree’s nuts. It exclusively grows in Morocco and experts claim that the oil produces age-defying as well as restorative effects. It is also rich in vitamin E as well as essential fatty acids. Believe it or not, it is said to be able to treat any problematic skin condition, be it eczema, psoriasis, wrinkles, dry skin or acne.
It also contains large quantities of vitamin E as well phytosterols which are effective in treating scar tissue. Be aware that the oil is relatively new in the US, however, tourists of French and English descent have long known of its existence years ago in Morocco. Take note that Moroccan oil proliferates Provence markets along with the other more popular olive and lavender oils. The Argan tree is similarly resilient as it has been in existence for more than two million years. They could also adapt easily and survive in the absence of water.
Thanks to the efforts exerted by Mohammed VI, a Moroccan king who has received praise due to his promotion of women’s rights, the oil is now being promoted all over the world and exported globally. Essentially, it is the Berber women of Morocco who are very much responsible for the harvesting of the nuts which produce the oil. The process is being conducted in working cooperatives which engage in fair trade. Similarly, the Monaco government are backing a system to allow women to work half of the day – while the other half is spent on their families – in exchange for good working conditions as well as fair wages.
Plus, the respective cooperatives have started a reforestation ecosystem with the objective of preserving the Argan forest. They are now working closely with the Water and Forests Authorities of Morocco to allow excellent tree growth, start planting argan nurseries as well as produce educational programs. Eventually, the community has realized the value of planting, taking care and protecting the trees.
Be aware that the price of the product is not cheap. Take note that it is more expensive compared to high-end moisturisers available in beauty shops. However, purchasing Moroccan oil is akin to supporting the rights of women.
All in all, the product is the most powerful beauty serum. It is has been used by Morocco’s women for a number of centuries. It is light compared to other types of oils. Plus, it is absorbed by the nails, skin and hair very easily. It is rich in essential fatty acids necessary to make the skin glow healthily. Its pale gold colour feels light and is not at all greasy. It has a faintly nutty smell and is able to offer protection compared to other kinds of oil. It is essentially the oil of choice since it is far better than any beauty oils currently available in the market.
